Actress Zarine Khan was operated for appendicitis recently after she complained of acute stomach pain on the sets of 'Housefull 2' here. The starlet who made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan starrer 'Veer' was diagnosed with the problem and needed immediate medical care. She was rushed to undergo surgery while shooting at Filmistan for the multi-starrer directed by Sajid Khan.
Concerned over how they would manage to shoot given her absence, Zarine was a little sceptical. However, the rest of the cast insisted on the surgery, were very accommodating and moved their dates around, sources said. Sajid said, "Zarine is an absolute delight to work with. When she told me about her operation, I requested a change in schedule from other actors. They all obliged, as everybody is very fond of her."
